COLTENE sold its medical business to Medifiq Healthcare Corporation

SWX-listed COLTENE Holding Ltd. (formerly Medisize Holding AG), a leading developer, manufacturer and distributor of dental consumables, sold its medical business to Medifiq Healthcare Corporation of Finland which is owned by the Swedish private equity investor Ratos Group. The purchase price was CHF 105 million. The transaction closed on April 30, 2008.
