Fahrzeug-Werke LUEG to acquire 6 sites from Mercedes-Benz Automobil

On September 9, 2019, Fahrzeug-Werke LUEG AG (LUEG), one of the largest distribution and service partners of Daimler AG in Germany, has announced that it acquires from Mercedes-Benz Automobil AG (MERBAG) six MERBAG locations, including 200 employees, in Central Switzerland. For the time being, MERBAG will remain a minority shareholder and will actively support the integration of the business into the LUEG group. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions.
