Generics Business of Spirig Pharma AG sold to STADA Arzneimittel AG

On November 9, 2011, the selling shareholders of Spirig HealthCare AG, Egerkingen, entered into an agreement with STADA Arzneimittel AG (XETRA: SAZ) to sell the Generics Business of Spirig Pharma AG to STADA Arzneimittel AG. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2012.

Lenz & Staehelin advised the selling shareholders in this transaction. The Lenz & Staehelin team consisted of Rudolf Tschäni, Stephan Erni and Andrea Häfeli (all Corporate/M&A) and Heini Rüdisühli and Stefan Schwaller (both Tax).
