Incorporation of the CyberPeace Institute foundation

Lenz & Staehelin provided legal assistance and advice in the setting up and incorporation in November 2019 in Geneva, Switzerland, of the CyberPeace Institute.
 
The CyberPeace Institute is a major new foundation of international scope which has been set up in order to enhance the stability of the cyberspace by empowering the global community with the knowledge and capabilities to promote a peaceful online world. The foundation’s purposes will also include decreasing cyberattacks, promoting transparency and holding malicious actors to account for the harms caused by cyberattacks.
 
The Lenz & Staehelin team was led by partner Benoît Merkt and involved Sevan Antreasyan, Alix Marxer, Benjamin Moret and Fanja Ratrimo (all Foundations and Philanthropy).
