Lenz & Staehelin advises PartnerRe on its acquisition of PARIS RE

Lenz & Staehelin is advising PartnerRe (NYSE: PRE), a leading global reinsurer, on its approximately USD 2 billion acquisition of PARIS RE (EURONEXT: PRI) as Swiss counsel. Under the terms of the definitive agreements, PartnerRe will exchange 0.30 of its common shares for each PARIS RE common share. The transaction is, among others, subject to regulatory and anti-trust clearance.
