Lenz & Staehelin assisted Global Antibiotic Research & Development Partnership

Lenz & Staehelin (Partner Benoît Merkt) assisted the Geneva-based organization the Global Antibiotic Research & Development Partnership (GARDP Foundation) in connection with the Agreement signed with the Federal Council on March 10, 2021, relating to the privileged status of GARDP Foundation in Switzerland.

GARDP Foundation plays a major role in the fight against antibiotic resistance. GARDP’s mission is to develop new treatments for the drug-resistant infections that pose some of the greatest threats to global health. GARDP works in close collaboration with the World Health Organization, governments, universities and the private sector to ensure an affordable access to these new treatments.
