New Business Park for Swisscom in Zurich

German real estate giant Union Investment and Swisscom Immobilien announce their agreement on a major long-term lease agreement for a new Swisscom business park in the up-beat Zurich West area. The business park will replace two current Swisscom locations, consist of more than 20'000 sqm and offer office space for more than 1'300 Swisscom employees. With the new business park Swisscom continues the implementation of a new flexible office space concept. The construction of the building "51 Fifty-One" will be completed early 2011 and Swisscom expects the business park to become operational in 2012.

Lenz & Staehelin advised "UniImmo: Europa" and its fund manager Union Investment Real Estate in the negotiations with Swisscom Immobilien. The team was led by Beat Kühni and included Stefano Bernasconi and Seraina Kihm.
