Public tender offer for Schulthess Group AG

On April 20, 2011, NIBE Industrier AB of Sweden, one of the leading heat pump manufacturers in Europe, published a public purchase and exchange offer to the shareholders of Schulthess Group AG. The core activities of the Switzerland-based target company are the development, manufacture and distribution of products and services in the heating, cooling and washing technology.

For the evaluation of the offer Schulthess Group AG formed an independent committee which was advised by Rudolf Tschäni, partner at Lenz & Staehelin, in respect of legal matters.
