Purchase of La Tour Hospital Group

On February 26, 2013, HDLT Holding SA, held by the Luxembourg fund Pronia and advised by Gestron Services, purchased the La Tour group of hospitals, i.e., La Tour Réseau de Soins SA, Permanence de la Clinique de Carouge SA and La Tour Sàrl, from ColTour Sàrl, a company sponsored by Colony Capital.

The Pronia fund is composed of private investors (individuals, family offices and institutions) and hopes to use this first acquisition to extend its investments in the Swiss healthcare industry.

Lenz & Staehelin advised the purchaser. The team was led by Andreas Rötheli (overall, M&A / financing) and included David Ledermann, Marie Flegbo-Berney and Mona Boughaba (all M&A / financing), Benoît Merkt and Rayan Houdrouge (both Competition), Daniel Schafer and Arnaud Martin (both Tax).
