Sale of Ziegler Druck- und Verlags-AG to Tamedia group

The majority owners of Ziegler Druck- und Verlags-AG (ZDV), the publisher of daily newspaper "Der Landbote" and weekly "Winterthurer Stadtanzeiger", agreed to sell 70.5% of ZDV to SIX-listed Tamedia AG who already holds a 20% interest in the company. ZDV's enterprise value amounts to roughly CHF 70.4 million. The transaction is subject to, among others, the approval by the Swiss Competition Commission.
