Strategic participation in APG|SGA by NZZ

APG|SGA, the leading Swiss out-of-home advertising and media company, announced on May 30, 2024, that Aktiengesellschaft für die Neue Zürcher Zeitung (NZZ) will acquire a shareholding of 25% from the existing shareholders JCDecaux SE and Pargesa Asset Management SA for a total consideration of CHF 165 million. The participation by NZZ is the result of the strategic transaction process announced by APG|SGA in February 2024 when the two current major shareholders had informed the Company of their intention to sell their stakes. The transaction is expected to close in the coming days.
