Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. acquires Prionics AG

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., the world leader in serving science, announced on March 17, 2014 that is has acquired Prionics AG, one of the world's leading providers of farm animal diagnostic solutions and a recognized center of expertise in BSE and prion diseases. Prionics was founded in 1997 as a spin-off from Zurich University.
