TravelPerk acquires Yokoy to create a leading integrated travel and expense management platform

Lenz & Staehelin is advising TravelPerk, Inc., a provider of business travel solutions headquartered in Barcelona, Spain, on its acquisition of Yokoy, a Swiss provider of expense management solutions alongside A&O Shearman as international counsel. The transaction, structured as a share-for-share exchange, will strengthen TravelPerk's position in integrated travel and expense management solutions for corporate clients. Yokoy, founded in 2019, is a Swiss growth company offering digital tools for expense, invoice, and card payment processing with subsidiaries in several European countries. Closing of the transaction is subject to customary conditions and expected in Q2/2025. TravelPerk announced at the same time the closing of its Series E funding round with USD 200 million of commitments which brings TravelPerk's valuation to USD 2.7 billion.
