Unilabs acquires Meditest Companies

Unilabs, Laboratoire d'analyses médicales SA, has acquired Meditest Vevey S.A., Meditest Bulle S.A., and Bactéria S.A. 

The Meditest companies operate specialized medical test laboratories at various sites in the Cantons of Vaud, Fribourg, and Neuchâtel with a large service offering and an excellent reputation for quality.

Unilabs is a Swiss diagnostics company that has developed over the last 30 years into a leading pan-European group with 6,900 employees, supplying laboratory, medical imaging and drug development services to public and private healthcare providers (hospitals, clinics, GPs, occupational health units), local and regional governments, the general public, insurance companies, the pharmaceutical industry and to CROs.

With this acquisition, Unilabs is able to further strengthen its market position in French-speaking Switzerland and to generate laboratory network synergies.
