Lenz & Staehelin advises Credit Suisse Group on the sale of Winterthur to AXA

Lenz & Staehelin has advised Credit Suisse Group on the sale of Winterthur Swiss Insurance Company to the French insurance group AXA that was announced yesterday.

AXA will acquire 100% of Winterthur for CHF 12.3 billion (EUR 7.9 billion) to be paid in cash.

The legal team of Lenz & Staehelin was led by partners Rudolf Tschäni and Beat Kühni and included associates Tino Gaberthüel, Matthias Wolf and Hans-Jakob Diem.
