Lenz & Staehelin elects Tino Gaberthüel and Marcel Tranchet as new Partners
We have pleasure in informing you that Tino Gaberthüel and Marcel Tranchet became partners of our firm on 1 January 2011.
Tino Gaberthüel studied at the universities of Zurich and Salamanca, Spain, and was admitted to the Zurich bar in 2000. In 2002/03 he obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Northwestern University School of Law and a Certificate in Business Administration (C.B.A.) from Kellogg School of Management. From 2003 to 2004 Tino Gaberthüel worked for Covington & Burling in New York. He subsequently joined our firm as an associate. He specialises in mergers and acquisitions, including public tender offers, capital markets law and corporate law.
Marcel Tranchet studied at the University of St. Gallen and Boston University. He was admitted to the Zurich bar in 2003 and joined our firm the same year. In 2005 and 2006 he worked for Cravath, Swaine & Moore in New York. His practice focuses on banking and finance and capital market matters, including syndicated bank financings, structured finance, leveraged finance, project finance, work-outs and recapitalizations, securities transactions, derivatives and regulatory matters.
