María Josefa Palmero-Areán is a counsel and certified tax expert based in our Lausanne office where she is member of the firm's Private Clients and Tax groups. She focuses on Swiss and international taxation, tax disputes and also advises in commercial and contract matters. She has extensive expertise in advising Swiss and international families and privately owned companies, as well as their owners, which include a number of high net worth individuals. Her main practice area is wealth planning, (re)structuring of assets and transactions, in particular in relation to estate planning, real estate and VAT matters. She also represents clients in tax disputes.
