A leading player in global sport
From football, equestrian disciplines and motor sport through to cycling, sailing, basketball, gymnastics, athletics, skiing and hockey – even boules and bridge. As the largest law firm in Switzerland, we offer the comprehensive advice today’s global sporting organisations and elite professionals need. With a practice in Lausanne for nearly 30 years, in addition to our Geneva and Zurich offices, we’re especially well connected in the city that many international sporting federations call home.
Our firm has multifaceted experience throughout the sports sector. We structure events and advise bodies including international and national federations, associations, clubs and other institutions. We also advise sports professionals, including athletes, agents, event organisers and sponsors, as well as broadcasters and other media that share the action worldwide.
Sport demands legal expertise in fields in which our firm is already a leader. This includes litigation and arbitration, corporate law, competition law, corporate financing, immigration and tax planning, structuring entities and intellectual property. It also extends to all contracts linked to sports (including employment and sponsorship) and identifying the right vehicle for federations and sporting or entertainment events.
We represent clients before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne for doping and disciplinary cases, as well as commercial disputes. We also act in other proceedings including appearing before the dispute resolution bodies of sports federations.
